The more I felt like myself in and through what I was sharing, the more I was losing subscribers and the less people were interacting with my shares. There was no way I'd step back, just very interesting to observe that.
And then, slowly, new people started to pop up. And when they interacted, mirrored back the impact, I could feel so clearly that we're meeting each other.
It's disruptive, but also beautiful. If one can trust through the phase of pure disruption.
I recently published an article here on substack about why I finally left Instagram; I talked about how just because a platform has a lot of people and engagement on it, that doesn't mean it's one made for you.
I also stopped posting to Twitter too. More creators need to stop feeding the machine of these companies through the feeding of our own insecurities. Lol Some wise words man! Good stuff! 👍👍👍

Totally agree 💯 with this. I went from being a quite well known interiors blogger, to writing horror stories. Quite a switch for my audience 😆
